Discovering Taste and Flavour
We eat and drink everyday, but how much attention is paid to what we actually taste?
This four-hour cooking class will focus on taste and flavour. Exploring the salty, the sweet, the hot and the
sour and how combining flavours can elevate an ordinary dish into a not so ordinary dish. Add three 5-oz
wine tasters and expect a real work out for the palate.

Fresh and Local
A bounty of foods are produced and harvested on Vancouver Island. This four-hour cooking class will focus
on Island foods and wines. Enjoy a delicious meal of local seafood, meats, vegetables and Island cheese
while sampling three 5-oz pours of Vancouver Island wines.
